About me

Hi, I’m Kalyn.
I’m glad you’re here.

As a mother who has experienced postpartum anxiety, pregnancy loss, and NICU stays I know how overwhelming, isolating, and complicated it can be. I bring both lived understanding and extensive clinical training to my work.

I'm a warm, attentive, and curious therapist who listens deeply, notices what's often unspoken, and offers honest insight, gentle challenges, expertise, and humor when it's needed.

Together, we'll make sense of what you're experiencing, build confidence in your ability to navigate it, and make room for your own needs. You don't have to figure it all out alone.

You deserve to be cared for, too.

Areas of support

For the parts no one prepares you for.

There is no single way to feel about becoming a parent. Hope, worry, grief, love, and uncertainty can exist side by side. There is room for all of it here.

Trying to conceive & infertility

Support through uncertainty, fertility treatment and IVF, disappointment, and the emotional weight of waiting.

Pregnancy & postpartum

A place for anxiety, postpartum depression, overwhelm, intrusive thoughts, birth trauma, and the feelings you didn’t expect.

Loss & grief

Compassionate support for pregnancy loss, and the complicated feelings that can accompany pregnancy after loss.

Identity & parenthood

Space to explore who you are becoming, changing relationships, your needs, and the pressure to get it all right.

Beyond pregnancy and postpartum, I support parents through the challenges of parenting at every stage.

A little room to breathe

You don’t have to do this alone.

And you don’t have to do it perfectly.

My approach

Practical support. A relationship you can trust.

Our work starts with getting to know you—your history, relationships, supports, and what feels hardest right now. We’ll decide together what you want from therapy and move at a pace that respects your readiness.

Tools for the moments that feel too much

I draw on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) to help you understand difficult thought patterns, cope with feelings, and act on what matters to you.

Curiosity about the patterns underneath

Relational, attachment, and psychodynamic approaches help us explore how past experiences shape your relationships and the way you see yourself.

A gentler relationship with yourself

We’ll notice the critical inner voice and practice responding with compassion. Some days we’ll focus on immediate coping; other days we’ll explore more deeply.

Working with partners & dads

Your experience belongs here, too.

Becoming a parent can change your sense of self, your relationship, and what you need from others. I welcome partners and fathers for individual therapy, with space to explore your own experience as well as how to support the person you love.

Together, we can work on communication, asking for help, and finding your footing in this new phase of life.

There is no one kind of family. All are welcome.

I aim to offer an inclusive, affirming space that respects your identity, relationships, and path to parenthood. Your story and your goals guide our work.
